    Kagarara was born with dwarfism in a country of a thousand hills. For years, being small was the first thing anyone noticed about him. Then he picked up his phone and showed the world what else was true. Now the world watches, and he has written the book he wishes he'd had as a boy.

    How this happened

    Then a man came from across the ocean

    In 2026, American creator Ashton Hall saw one of Kagarara's videos and got on a plane. Together they travelled through Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon, and Kagarara carried the Rwandan flag in every country. When he came home, the Prime Minister was waiting to shake his hand.

    Kagarara is a Rwandan storyteller and creator followed by millions of people. Born with dwarfism, he has spent the past year carrying his country's flag across Africa. This is his first book.
